Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Melvin Hari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Konge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hari stuffs the takedown attempt from Konge. Konge gets slowly back to his feet.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!

Konge shoots in looking for a takedown. Hari tries to sprawl out of it but Konge keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hari manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hari throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Konge.
Hari throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Konge shoots in but no luck this time.
Hari fakes the leg kick and cracks Konge in the body.
Konge shoots in and drives through. Hari sprawls well.

Hari moves into the clinch.

Hari tries to break free but Konge pushes him back against the cage.
Hari wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Hari will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Konge up against the cage.
Hari prevents the takedown attempt.
Konge has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hari avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Hari pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Hari counters with a series of strikes. Konge will be more careful next time no doubt.

Hari moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Konge shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Hari on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hari tries to get out of the position.

Konge works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Konge is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hari sees it coming and defends easily.
Hari pushes Konge off but Konge dives into side control.

Konge is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hari is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Konge has an Americana. Hari didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Konge is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Konge hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

A very excited looking Frank Konge rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
