Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zapp Brannigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuudai Ryuu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brannigan comes to the cage accompanied by Jackyl -- The Lumberjack. Ryuu has chosen High on Fire - Bastard Samurai as his entrance music. Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brannigan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ryuu defending well as Brannigan loads up on a big left hand.
Brannigan is looking to clinch.
Ryuu misses with a double jab.
Ryuu connects with a body shot that sends Brannigan's belly button to the back.
Brannigan is breathing heavily.
Brannigan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Brannigan throws a push kick but Ryuu slaps the foot to one side.
Ryuu misses the shot to the body.
Brannigan wants to clinch but Ryuu slips to the side
and Ryuu counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Brannigan fails to land the takedown.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brannigan takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Ryuu digs a good hook to Brannigan's body.
Ryuu thuds a left hand into Brannigan's body.
Ryuu is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Brannigan rather than just go for the knockout.
Brannigan takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Ryuu lands with a hook. Brannigan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Brannigan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ryuu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Brannigan needs to keep his hands up - Ryuu had a free shot at his head there.
Ryuu throws a lazy right hand but Brannigan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Brannigan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ryuu manages to avoid it.
Ryuu changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ryuu feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Brannigan's calf.
Ryuu feints and then cracks Brannigan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brannigan down.
Brannigan takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Ryuu tries to land a leg kick but Brannigan saw it coming and moves away.

Ryuu is looking to land body kicks.
Ryuu lunges at Brannigan with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Brannigan's hand.
Ryuu lands with a nice body punch.
Ryuu throws a sloppy head kick and Brannigan moves out of range easily.
Ryuu feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Brannigan's calf.
Ryuu connects with a body shot that sends Brannigan's belly button to the back.
Brannigan misses with a wild body shot.
Ryuu has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Ryuu misses with a low kick.
Ryuu fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Ryuu feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Brannigans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Ryuu scores with the left hand. Brannigan knows he should have avoided that one.

Brannigan moves out of range as Ryuu throws a body kick.
Brannigan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Brannigan moves forwards but Ryuu connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Brannigan is rocked!
Brannigan takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Oh Brannigan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Crack! A monster head kick from Ryuu and Brannigan falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Ryuu!

A relieved looking Yuudai Ryuu thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
