The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clinton moves to clinch but Sakuba breaks away and Sakuba counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Clinton! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Clinton tries to hold on but Sakuba postures up. Clinton defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Sakuba. Sakuba looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Clinton tries to lock up and control but Sakuba gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Clinton is squirming around, avoiding Sakuba's attempts to control the action. This has been an exciting period of action! Clinton tries to hold on but Sakuba pushes him away. Clinton is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clinton is desperately trying to improve his position but Sakuba has a good base and remains in mount. Sakuba has isolated one of Clinton's arms. Clinton looking to fight him off but Sakuba twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
