Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between TJ Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and iLL Nasty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, TJ Grant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, iLL Nasty! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grant tries for a takedown but Nasty sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Grant changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nasty looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Grant working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Grant controlling from side mount. Nasty struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grant taking a break here but Nasty is having none of it and regains half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nasty is looking for a sweep. Grant is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Nasty has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Grant is working away from the top position though. Grant is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Grant thows a huge punch but Nasty dodges it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Grant seems to be looking for submissions.
Nasty is not content to let Grant control the position. Grant is trying to work for a kimura but Nasty is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Grant is looking for a kimura but Nasty is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Grant to get the leverage. Grant is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nasty is staying active underneath Grant, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Grant is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Grant pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nasty is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Grant fails with an attempt to clinch.
TJ Grant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Grant tries to close the distance and clinch but Nasty swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The fight stays on the outside here - Grant looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Grant fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nasty sprawls well initially but Grant persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Grant is working for a kimura but Nasty is defending it quite comfortably.
Grant is looking to advance position but Nasty won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
TJ Grant dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
The fight stays on the outside here - Grant looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nasty shoots for a takedown but Grant saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Grant tries to clinch but Nasty is having none of it. Nasty looks to land a combination. Grant sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Nasty walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Grant checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Grant tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nasty swivels and escapes. Grant throws a half hearted mid kick. Nasty shoots in for a takedown but Grant shows good takedown defense. Grant is looking to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grant tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nasty paws at him with a jab and circles away. A nice combination there by Nasty.

Nasty tries to bum rush Grant with a series of wild strikes but Grant uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Grant fails in his attempt to clinch. Grant avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grant tries to keep at a distance but Nasty has taken the fight into the clinch. Nasty escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No luck for Nasty with that takedown attempt. TJ Grant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of iLL Nasty. Nasty is breathing heavily. Grant shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nasty pinned against the cage. Nasty gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Grant misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Nasty circles away from the clinch attempt and Nasty counters with a thumping low kick. Nasty misses with a kick to the body and Grant counters with a head kick. Grant closes the distance looking to clinch and Nasty counters with a shoot takedown. Grant fights it but they end up in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grant throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Grant is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Nasty trying to hold on to Grant's head to control him but Grant postures up.
Nasty looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grant not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Grant wants to control but Nasty is keeping him busy. Nasty is trying to maintain the position but Grant is very close to passing his half guard. Grant prevents Nasty from standing back up.
Nasty is not content to let Grant control the position. Grant trying to pass the guard but Nasty defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Grant clinches but Nasty breaks the clinch and Nasty counters by clinching up. Grant taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Grant misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Nasty.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by TJ Grant. Nasty fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Grant tries to clinch and Nasty counters with a good, hard body kick but Grant shrugs it off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
iLL Nasty showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Grant shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nasty's guard. Nasty keeping moving, preventing Grant from controlling successfully. Grant thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Grant controls from within his opponent's guard. Grant passes Nasty's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nasty is looking to improve his position.
Nasty wants to control but Grant is keeping busy and won't allow it. Grant is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Nasty defends it well. Nasty is looking to control Grant's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nasty avoid being mounted? Grant missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Grant wants to work for an arm triangle but Nasty is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Grant is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nasty is just riding it out for now. Grant eventually gives up the hold. Nasty is looking to control Grant's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nasty avoid being mounted?

Nope, Nasty circles away and we're back to standing. Nasty shoots in but no luck this time. Nasty lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Grant wants to clinch but Nasty slips to the side and Nasty counters with an inside leg kick. Grant tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Nasty counters with a slapping leg kick. Grant clinches but Nasty breaks the clinch and Nasty counters with a lovely shot to the body. Grant throws a head kick but Nasty moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nasty lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Nasty lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Nasty. Grant clinches but Nasty breaks the clinch and Nasty counters with a three punch combo that has Grant backing up. Grant nods at Nasty to acknowledge the strikes. Grant darts in and clinches Nasty up against the cage. Nasty breaks the clinch.
Nasty will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Grant closes the distance looking to clinch and Nasty counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Grant thinking. Nasty throws a leg kick that is checked and Grant counters by moving into the clinch. Nasty is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Grant is looking to control Nasty's arms but Nasty gets an underhook and turns him. Now Grant has his back to the cage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Grant drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Grant tries to land knees in the clinch but Nasty avoids the damage to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to TJ Grant. I think Grant has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
