Just is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Intriguing Possibilities- Trent Reznor. Jose Oquendo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Peter Just's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Just tries to bum rush Oquendo with a series of wild strikes but Oquendo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Just avoids a punch combination nicely.
Just takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Oquendo throws a low kick but Just moves out of range easily.
Oquendo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Oquendo throws a lazy right hand but Just sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Oquendo fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Just checks it well.

Just shoots in and bounces Oquendo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Just drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Oquendo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Just has Oquendo in his guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Just sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Oquendo is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That kick from Just tenderised Oquendo's leg. Oquendo is trying to keep his angry face on.
Just fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Oquendo.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Just throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Oquendo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Peter Just has got the better of the ground game so far.

Just drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Oquendo dives on top into guard.

Just might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Oquendo kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
