Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kichiro Kaneko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kichiro Kaneko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Douglas Brown!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kaneko moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Brown misses with a series of wild punches.
Kaneko misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kaneko lands a nice leg kick that just misses Brown's sensitive parts.

Brown drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Brown looking to sit in guard and control but Kaneko gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kaneko is working Brown over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Brown shoots in for a takedown but Kaneko shows good takedown defense.

Brown throws a hook to the side of Kaneko's head but Kaneko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Kaneko lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Brown has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kaneko.
Douglas Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Brown rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kaneko counters with a good, hard body kick but Brown shrugs it off.

Kaneko fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Brown.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Kaneko lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Brown sprawling to the canvas. Kaneko follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Brown hang on?

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kaneko lands a nice short elbow.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Brown fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kaneko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kaneko connects with a leg kick. Brown looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kaneko lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Brown with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kaneko to score with a decent uppercut.
Kaneko thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Brown if he has to take too many more of those.
Brown swings for the body but Kaneko moves out of range.

Brown misses with a right hand
and Kaneko counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Brown scores with a sloppy right hand. Kaneko should have avoided that one.
Kaneko uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Brown has time to react.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brown sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Brown shoots in but no luck this time.
Brown fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kaneko manages to avoid it.
Kaneko is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Brown can do to turn this around?
Kaneko changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Brown's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Kaneko throws a leg kick which misses Brown's front leg but catches the back leg as Brown tries to avoid it.
Brown is breathing heavily.

Kaneko lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Brown crumples to the floor! Kaneko milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
