Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Smoke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kingdom Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smoke comes into the arena with We are Water blaring out of the sound system. Jackson has chosen Darkthrone - Under a Funeral Moon as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kingdom Jackson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Smoke.

and Smoke counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Smoke seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Jackson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Smoke can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smoke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

so Jackson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Smoke lands a good knee to the midsection. Jackson won't want to take too many of those.

Jackson is trying to break the clinch but Smoke has him pressed against the cage.
Smoke pushes off an throws an elbow but Jackson leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Smoke is pulling down on Jackson's head. It's preventing any offense from Jackson, at least for the moment.

Jackson throws a shot from downtown. Smoke moves away and avoids it.

Smoke throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Smoke dodges the punch combination from Jackson.

Smoke slaps away a takedown attempt from Jackson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jackson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smoke tries to avoid it but Jackson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smoke to the ground. Smoke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Johnny Smoke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kingdom Jackson.

Jackson throws a combination. Smoke tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Johnny Smoke has been cut.

Smoke looks for a takedown but Jackson sprawls well.
Jackson misses with a series of wild punches.
Jackson shoots in but Smoke avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Smoke takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Smoke is rocked!
Smoke throws a front kick aimed at Jackson's knee but Jackson avoids it well.
Oh Smoke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smoke backs away from a small jab... but Jackson lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Smoke crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Jackson with a spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Kingdom Jackson!
