Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Tyler!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tyler throws out the jab.
Jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tyler gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Tyler drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tyler scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Jones works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Tyler stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Jones using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones manages to break the clinch.
Tyler misses with a straight right.
Jones lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Tyler throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range.
Tyler moves out of range as Jones throws a body kick.
Tyler with a poor takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A slow jab from Tyler misses its intended target.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tyler shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dummy Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Tyler.
Tyler has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jones.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones misses with a body kick.
Jones connects with a right hand. Tyler shakes it off.
Jones throws a head kick that half lands.
Tyler misses the jab.
Jones avoids the body shot from Tyler.
Jones wants to land a leg kick but Tyler is out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jones.
Tyler waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jones.
Tyler throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tyler shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jones walks into a jab.
Jones displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tyler.
The fighters circling - Tyler throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tyler looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tyler throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tyler dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jones misses with a low kick.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Tyler.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Tyler in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Jones is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
