Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bat Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bat Man!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Hall!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Man shoots in for a takedown but Hall shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Man throws a jab when Hall was well out of range.
Some wild striking there from Man.
Man ducks under a wild hook from Hall.

Hall has managed to clinch.
Hall with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Man avoids a wild elbow strike from Hall.
Hall throws a knee to the head but misses.
Hall with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Hall gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Man.
Man has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hall after a bit of a struggle.

Man turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Hall is pushing Man's head away, looking to escape. Man manages to hold on to the position though.
Man postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Man is trying to ground and pound but Hall uses the momentary lack of control by Man to regain half guard.

Man seems to be working for a kimura but Hall defends the submission attempt.

Hall works his way to full guard. Good work.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Man drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hall dives on top into guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Man has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hall stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Man shoots in but Hall avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hall tries to close the distance and clinch but Man swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nice sprawl there from Hall as Man shoots in.
Man shoots in and drives through. Hall sprawls well.
Hall swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hall stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hall wants it to stay on the feet.
Man is breathing heavily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hall looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Man circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hall misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Man.
Bat Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hall misses with a two punch combination.
Hall throws a right and a left that Man avoids nicely.
Hall looks to throw the jab but Man is out of range.
Man shoots in looking for a takedown. Hall tries to sprawl out of it but Man keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hall fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Hall stuffs the takedown attempt from Man. Man gets slowly back to his feet.
Hall slips a jab and a cross from Man.
Hall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hall takes a swing at Man's ribcage but misses.
Man fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hall throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hall pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Man tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hall sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Man somewhat.

Man shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Man showed some decent athleticism there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jesse Hall will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Bat Man's cut.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Man.
Man shoots for a double leg takedown but Hall sprawls well. He's pushed Man's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Man darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hall tries to clinch there but Man circles away.
Sloppy strikes from Hall. Those never looked like landing.
Man shoots in and drives through. Hall sprawls well.

Man looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hall is fending him off so far but Man persists. Nope, Hall circles away and we're back to standing.

Hall scores with a head kick. Man tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Man connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hall's hands.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Man closes the distance and clinches up with Hall, looking for a takedown. Man pushes Hall against the cage but Hall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Man closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hall did well to prevent Man getting side control.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Man looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Hall works his way to full guard. Good work.
Man working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Hall wants to stand up but Man is controlling him.
Hall bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Man's guard.
Hall trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Hall throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Man works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Hall drops back, looking for a kneebar! Man looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Man looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Man!

Man tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Man has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Man wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hall, who protects the arm well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Jesse Hall will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The cut man is working on Bat Man's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Man lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hall drops his hands momentarily and Man takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Hall slips a jab and a cross from Man.
Hall displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Man.
Man misses with a looping left.
Man avoids a kick to the body.
Man fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hall tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Man was well out of range. Poor timing from Hall.
Hall tries a head kick but it misses.
Hall tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Man is able to avoid easily.
Horrible takedown by Man or perhaps it was just good defense by Hall which made him look bad.

Man shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hall as he jumps to the side.
Hall throws a sloppy head kick and Man moves out of range easily.
Hall leaves Man with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Hall has taken the fight to the clinch.

Hall manages to break the clinch.
Sloppy strikes from Hall. Those never looked like landing.
Man closes the distance and clinches up with Hall, looking for a takedown. Man pushes Hall against the cage but Hall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Man shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hall's guard.
Man throws an elbow that misses. Hall uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Man's guard. Nice move by Hall!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Man escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hall gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hall distracts Man with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Hall trying to stand up but can't free himself from Man's guard.

Man looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hall trying to control but Man is working from the bottom.

Hall is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Hall decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Hall displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Man.
Hall pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Man tries for a takedown but Hall sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Man circles away from the clinch attempt.
Man blocks the body kick.
Hall scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Hall closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hall is pressed up against the cage. Man has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hall down to the mat. Hall avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Man fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hall lands a two punch combo.
Hall throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Man shoots in for a takedown but Hall shows good takedown defense.
Hall lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Man circles away quickly and effectively.
Man is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hall sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jesse Hall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
