Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Dumonte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and KJ Dempsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dempsey has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dumonte lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dempsey looks gassed!
Dempsey takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Nice uppercut there from Dumonte.
It looks like KJ Dempsey has been cut.
Dumonte scores with a body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dumonte cracks Dempsey with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Dempsey takes a kick to the side of the head.
Dumonte works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Donk. Dumonte catches Dempsey right on the button with a cross.
Dumonte has managed to clinch.
Dumonte misses with a hook to the ribs.
Dumonte breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dumonte takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Dempsey takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Dumonte cracks Dempsey with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Dempsey tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Dumonte pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Dempsey is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Dumonte!
