Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson gets tackled into the cage by Davidson. Davidson maintains the clinch.
Davidson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Johnson blocks a body shot from Davidson.
Davidson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Johnson is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Davidson to keep the fight standing.
Johnson wants a takedown.
Johnson goes for a takedown attempt but Davidson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Johnson feints a jab promting Davidson to slip. Johnson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Davidson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown. Davidson tries to sprawl out of it but Johnson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Davidson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Davidson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Johnson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Davidson is aware though and is defending well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Davidson leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Johnson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Davidson stacks Johnson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Davidson!

Johnson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Davidson can pounce on him.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Carl Johnson.
I think Johnson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
