The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castile wants to clinch up but Vasilevsky keeps it at a distance.
Castile displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vasilevsky throws out the jab.
Castile throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Castile throws a leg kick that misses.
Castile connects with a solid leg kick.
Vasilevsky misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Castile.
Castile pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Castile swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Vasilevsky.
Castile turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vasilevsky throws a sloppy head kick
and Castile counters with a nice low kick that buckles Vasilevsky's knee momentarily.
Castile fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vasilevsky has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Castile throws a quick inside leg kick.
Vasilevsky is breathing heavily.
Vasilevsky throws a poor cross that misses
and Castile counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Vasilevsky is rocked!
Castile scores with a nice body kick.
Oh Vasilevsky is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
BOOM! Castile lands a beautiful left hook that drops Vasilevsky. Vasilevsky tries to recover but Castile is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Vasilevsky lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Angel Castile!
Angel Castile really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Steel Penn's Laundry 93% logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
