The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Villa takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Griffin looks to land a right hand but Villa moved out of range.
TJ Griffin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Griffin blocks the body kick.
Griffin throws a jab when Villa was well out of range.
Villa bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Oooooh!!! Griffin has knocked Villa down with a huge combo! Griffin steps away and waves a wobbly Villa back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Villa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Villa counters with a low kick, right behind Griffin 's knee.
Griffin tries to land a front kick but Villa steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Villa throws a sloppy head kick and Griffin moves out of range easily.
TJ Griffin is winning the standup battle so far.

Griffin motions for Villa to come forward. Griffin throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Griffin scores with a hook.
Villa looks to throw a body kick
and Griffin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Villa is rocked!

Griffin lands an uppercut, right on the button! Villa tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). TJ Griffin!
A less than humble TJ Griffin misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
