Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Jon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Esperanza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon comes into the arena with Indestructible blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jon gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Jon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Esperanza tries to clinch but Jon is having none of it.
Esperanza takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Jon swings for the body but Esperanza moves out of range.
Kyle Jon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Esperanza throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Esperanza tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jon connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Esperanza tries to clinch up.
Jon jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Esperanza fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jon throws a series of punches but Esperanza moves out of range.
Jon stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jon closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Esperanza! Jon dives in looking to finish! Esperanza is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyle Jon!
