And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Filipovic scores with a takedown into Pontes's guard.

Pontes is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Filipovic is just riding it out for now. Pontes eventually gives up the hold.

Pontes is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters are battling for position here. Filipovic manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Pontes shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Filipovic's guard.

Filipovic has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Pontes should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Filipovic has tightened it up now! Pontes should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
