Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gio Leonardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gio Leonardo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Wolf! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leonardo tries for a takedown but Wolf circles away easily and Wolf counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Wolf breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Wolf is looking to clinch. Wolf moves in looking to clinch but Leonardo pushes him off. Leonardo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wolf counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Leonardo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Wolf forces his way into half guard. Wolf controlling the pace. Wolf missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Wolf lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wolf wants to free his trapped foot but Leonardo is holding on for dear life with his legs. Wolf takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Wolf throwing shots but Leonardo is blocking nicely. Wolf not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Leonardo trying to hold on to Wolf's head to control him but Wolf postures up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Leonardo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wolf circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gio Leonardo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Leonardo lands a nice shot to the body.
Wolf moves into the clinch. Leonardo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wolf has him pressed against the cage. Wolf tries to work over Leonardo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Leonardo missing with knees to the body.
Wolf gets a trip takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wolf seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Wolf uses his free foot to push down on Leonardo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Leonardo. Wolf has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wolf breaks from Leonardo's wrist control and lands an elbow. Wolf sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Leonardo is trying to escape the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leonardo is in a horrible position here. Wolf smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Leonardo is breathing heavily. Wolf lands a big shot to the head and Leonardo winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
