Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ian Nolan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eulalio Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ian Nolan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eulalio Gonzalez! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nolan misses with a series of wild punches.
Nolan lands the left hand. Gonzalez shoots in and gets a takedown into Nolan's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Nolan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gonzalez gets to his feet. Nolan looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Gonzalez lands with a shot to the body. Gonzalez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gonzalez wants it to stay on the feet. Gonzalez pushes Nolan up against the cage in a clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gonzalez gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Nolan.
Gonzalez has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Nolan regains guard immediately. Gonzalez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gonzalez landing with the ground and pound. Gonzalez wants to control from the top but Nolan keeps moving. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gonzalez's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Nolan tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gonzalez throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Gonzalez postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Gonzalez slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Gonzalez trying to control the action but Nolan is working from the bottom. Gonzalez working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gonzalez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gonzalez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Gonzalez scoring with punches and elbows. Gonzalez cracks Nolan with a big elbow. Gonzalez lands a nice forearm strike. Gonzalez wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nolan, who protects the arm well. Gonzalez has an Americana. Nolan didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gonzalez is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gonzalez hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
