The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Mitzucuik is trying desperately to land a takedown but Jones is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Mitzucuik.

Jones cracks Mitzucuik with an uppercut from hell and Mitzucuik crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Jones's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Jasper Jones decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
