Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Breashers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nefertum Imhotep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Breashers's entrance music is Death Is The Road To Awe. A fine choice. Nefertum Imhotep is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dan Breashers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nefertum Imhotep! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Imhotep darts in and clinches Breashers up against the cage. Imhotep breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Imhotep has Breashers up against the cage in a clinch.
Breashers can't break the clinch.
Imhotep lands an elbow inside that Breashers shrugs off.
It looks like Dan Breashers has been cut. Imhotep lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Imhotep drops down looking for an ankle pick but Breashers pulls his leg out and moves away.
Breashers rushes Imhotep and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Breashers misses with a punch on the inside.

Breashers is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Imhotep ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Imhotep no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Imhotep pushes Breashers off and scrambles back to his feet.
Imhotep instigates a clinch. Imhotep breaks the clinch.
Imhotep throws a series of punches but Breashers avoids them all with ease. Imhotep clinches up with Breashers and pushes him back against the cage. Imhotep putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Breashers in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Imhotep jumps guard and drags Breashers to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Imhotep manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Imhotep is looking to clinch. Imhotep closes the distance and clinches. Breashers takes a knee right on the jaw!

Imhotep prevents Breashers from breaking the clinch. Imhotep is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Imhotep pulls Breashers into guard.
Imhotep is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Breashers is aware though and is defending well. Imhotep is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Imhotep lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Imhotep has Breashers pressed against the cage, preventing Breashers from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Imhotep with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Imhotep dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Imhotep gets control of Breashers's arms and successfully pulls guard. Imhotep will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Imhotep lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Breashers! Imhotep controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Imhotep scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Breashers?
Poor strikes thrown by Imhotep there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Imhotep throws some wild stikes that Breashers manages to avoid easily.
Breashers on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Breashers tries to get out of the position. Breashers is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Breashers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Imhotep on the ground. Imhotep sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Imhotep working for a guillotine from mount but Breashers is in no mood to give up. Imhotep looking to ground and pound but Breashers is blocking nicely. Oooooh, big shot lands for Imhotep! Breashers is hurt baaadly! Imhotep is firing away with more strikes - Breashers is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nefertum Imhotep!
