Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between War Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Star Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, War Machine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Star Fighter! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fighter defending well as Machine loads up on a big left hand. Fighter closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Machine to the mat! Machine manages to get full guard. Fighter seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Fighter looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Star Fighter has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Fighter closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Machine did well to prevent Fighter getting side control. Machine tries to get to full guard but Fighter has control of the leg. Fighter takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like Fighter might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Fighter not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Fighter looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Machine with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Fighter not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Fighter stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Machine getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Fighter is looking to clinch. Fighter fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A combination from Machine does no damage. War Machine is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Machine stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Machine wants it to stay on the feet. Fighter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fighter throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Machine stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice takedown defense from Machine. No joy for Fighter on that attempt. War Machine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Star Fighter. Fighter doesn't manage to clinch there - Machine circles away.
Fighter looks gassed! Fighter misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fighter tries to clinch but Machine moves out of range. Machine bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. A shot to the liver by Machine. Beautiful body shot. Machine lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Machine, as that shot connected.
Machine uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Fighter has time to react. Nice body kick from Machine. Machine lands a jab-cross combination. Machine throws a leg kick which misses Fighter's front leg but catches the back leg as Fighter tries to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Machine throws a series of strikes that have Fighter backpedaling.
Fighter is rocked! Are you kidding me?! Machine ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Fighter clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). War Machine!
