Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mamoru Takamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jambo Alvez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Takamura might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to HEKIREKI. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mamoru Takamura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jambo Alvez!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Fedor Mirinova and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takamura tries a head kick but it misses.
Takamura connects with a single shot there.
Alvez closes the distance and clinches up with Takamura, looking for a takedown. Alvez pushes Takamura against the cage but Takamura circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Alvez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Alvez connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Takamura scores with a spinning back kick!
Takamura throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Alvez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Takamura lands a head kick. Alvez smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Alvez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Takamura as he avoids it easily.
Alvez has his takedown stuffed
and Takamura counters with a right hand to the body.
Mamoru Takamura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jambo Alvez.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Takamura punishes Alvez's body with a nice straight punch.
Takamura connects with a high kick.


It looks like Jambo Alvez has been cut.
Alvez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Takamura connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Alvez scrambles back to his feet.
Takamura takes a swing at Alvez's ribcage but misses.
Takamura uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Alvez.
Takamura looks to score with a jab to the body but Alvez is just out of range.
Alvez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Takamura avoids it really well and circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Alvez missing with a left hand there. Takamura was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Alvez doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Takamura counters with a one-two to the body.
Takamura takes a swing at Alvez's ribcage but misses.
Takamura scores with a shot to the body.
Alvez tries for a takedown but Takamura sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Alvez is trying desperately to land a takedown but Takamura is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Alvez.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Alvez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Alvez slips a jab and a cross from Takamura.
Alvez fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Takamura darts in and clinches Alvez up against the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Takamura.
Alvez working hard to break the clinch.
Takamura can't find room to land a body shot as Alvez controls the action.
A short left from Takamura.
Takamura with a knee to the head.
Alvez doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Takamura gets underhooks to prevent Alvez's takedown attempt.
Alvez looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Takamura gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
Takamura drops down looking for an ankle pick but Alvez pulls his leg out and moves away.
Takamura lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Alvez with a poor takedown
and Takamura counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Alvez throws a series of punches but Takamura avoids them all with ease.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mamoru Takamura dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jambo Alvez's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Alvez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Takamura takes a swing at Alvez's ribcage but misses.
Mamoru Takamura is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Alvez swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Takamura counters with a one-two to the body.
Alvez shoots in looking for a takedown. Takamura tries to sprawl out of it but Alvez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Takamura manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Takamura throws a series of strikes that have Alvez backpedaling.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Takamura lands a hook that stumbles Alvez back into the cage. Takamura follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Alvez to the canvas! Takamura pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Alvez has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Mamoru Takamura!
A relieved looking Mamoru Takamura thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
