Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Demian Bustamante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rick Williams is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Demian Bustamante!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bustamante slips a jab and a cross from Williams.
Williams throws the kick towards the body but Bustamante avoids it.
Williams bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bustamante's head.
A solid leg kick lands there for Williams.
Bustamante misses with a takedown attempt - Williams sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bustamante looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Williams is fending him off so far but Bustamante persists. Nope, Williams circles away and we're back to standing.

A combination from Williams does no damage.
Williams lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
No joy there for Williams, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A solid leg kick lands there for Williams.
Williams moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Demian Bustamante. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bustamante is breathing heavily.

Bustamante looks for a takedown but Williams sprawls well.

Bustamante shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Williams pinned against the cage. Williams gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Williams throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Bustamante shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bustamante was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Williams's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Williams defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bustamante.
Williams is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Bustamante wants to take Williams's back but he can't do it this time.
Williams's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The referee warns Williams that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Bustamante working for a submission but Williams is keeping him at bay.
Bustamante with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Bustamante lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Williams hang on?
Williams is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Bustamante in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Williams is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Bustamante has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Williams tries to buck Bustamante off but he can't manage it.

Bustamante wants to finish this one by submission but Williams is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Bustamante.

Bustamante jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Williams manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Bustamante tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bustamante has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Williams pushes Bustamante away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bustamante gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Bustamante tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Bustamante prevents Williams from escaping the position.
Williams is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Bustamante decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Bustamante moves out of range as Williams throws a body kick.
Rick Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Williams throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Bustamante is rocked!
Bustamante tries for a takedown but Williams sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Oh Bustamante is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
An inside leg kick lands from Williams.
Bustamante seems to have got his legs back now.
Williams throws a leg kick which misses Bustamante's front leg but catches the back leg as Bustamante tries to avoid it.
Williams looks to land a body kick but Bustamante moved away.

Bustamante checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Williams misses with an attempted mid kick.
Williams thuds his shin into the meat of Bustamante's side.
Bustamante closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Williams is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Bustamante is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Williams is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Williams is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bustamante has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Bustamante tries to advance to mount but can't.
Williams is trying to get back to his feet.
Bustamante decides to stand back up.
Bustamante shoots in for a takedown but Williams shows good takedown defense.
Bustamante closes the distance and clinches up with Williams, looking for a takedown. Bustamante pushes Williams against the cage but Williams circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Williams jabs Bustamante right on the nose. Bustamante blinks but takes it well.
Bustamante fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bustamante will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Horrible takedown by Bustamante or perhaps it was just good defense by Williams which made him look bad.
Williams attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Nice body kick from Williams.
Williams looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Donk. Williams catches Bustamante right on the button with a cross.
Bustamante takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rick Williams will probably get the nod.
That's time! Bustamante's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Williams lands with a thumping leg kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Williams.
Bustamante walks straight into a right hand from Williams - that's dropped him! Williams jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Bustamante from any more punishment! Bustamante complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Rick Williams!
