Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cris Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and chaz peti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). peti has chosen Jesus Everywhere I Go as his entrance music. chaz peti is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cage drives through with a takedown into guard.

peti looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Cage passes into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cage just content to control the position.
peti tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Cage knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for peti on the ground.
peti is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
peti regains half guard there - taking advantage of Cage's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

peti is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cage is just riding it out for now. peti eventually gives up the hold.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. peti connects with a nice short shot to Cage's temple.
peti has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

peti goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Cage is on top in guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
