Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Earl Chicago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Richardson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chicago's entrance music is It's Raining Men - The Weather Girls. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Earl Chicago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Richardson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richardson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Richardson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chicago swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Richardson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Chicago sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Chicago bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Chicago will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Richardson doesn't manage to clinch there - Chicago circles away.
Richardson tries to close the distance and clinch but Chicago swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Chicago shoots in looking for a takedown but Richardson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Chicago's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Richardson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Richardson is pushing down on Chicago's leg trying to pass to half guard. Chicago is fighting to maintain full guard but Richardson has managed to sneak the leg through.

Richardson is looking to advance position but Chicago won't allow it.
Chicago wants to control but Richardson is keeping busy.

We're going to have a standup here because Earl Chicago wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Chicago connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Chicago throws a series of strikes that have Richardson backpedaling.
Richardson misses with a hook to the body
and Chicago counters with a straight right hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Chicago gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Richardson pulls guard effortlessly.
Richardson looks gassed!
Chicago wants to control from the top but Richardson keeps moving.

Chicago has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Richardson has his feet on Chicago's thighs here. He's pushed Chicago off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Chicago screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
