Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Demian Sands (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glenardo Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sands comes to the cage accompanied by Numbe Encore-Jay-z and Linkin Park. Gonzalez has chosen "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley as his entrance music. Glenardo Gonzalez will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Glenardo Gonzalez! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gonzalez gets a clinch. Sands manages to pull guard.
Sands really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sands is looking for a triangle but Gonzalez pushes his legs off easily.
Gonzalez slips nicely into half guard. Gonzalez prevents Sands from improving his position. Gonzalez moves nicely into side control. Gonzalez advances to full mount. Gonzalez controlling the position easily from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sands is looking to get to half guard. Gonzalez controlling the pace for now. Sands tries to reverse the position but Gonzalez maintains control. Gonzalez controlling from the full mount. Sands is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Gonzalez controlling his opponent.
Despite being in the dominant position, Glenardo Gonzalez just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A combination from Sands does no damage. Gonzalez slips a jab and a cross from Sands.
Sands throws a nice looking combination but Gonzalez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sands is breathing heavily. Sands looks to land a combination but Gonzalez avoids it well. Sands fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Well, if Gonzalez is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sands might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. I looks like Gonzalez might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Let's hope that Gonzalez has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Gonzalez controlling the position easily from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sands throws a combination that misses and Gonzalez counters by clinching up. Gonzalez pressing his opponent against the cage. Sands is trying to break free. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Glenardo Gonzalez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
A combination from Sands does no damage. Sands rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gonzalez moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sands fails to land with a series of punches.

Demian Sands has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
