Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Isaki Gomi!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi throws a series of punches but Royce avoids them all with ease.
Royce lunges at Gomi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gomi's hand.
Royce shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Royce lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Royce prevents Gomi from getting the reversal.
Royce can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gomi is looking to escape.
Royce lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Gomi hang on?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Royce lands a big elbow.
Gomi is rocked!
Royce looking to secure an arm triangle but Gomi defends it well.
Gomi is wriggling around trying to escape.

Royce looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Gomi is still in real trouble! Can Royce finish him?
Royce fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Royce avoids the attempt from Gomi to control.
Gomi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Royce kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
A big strike lands for Royce! That's really hurt Gomi and he's turned his back - Royce keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Royce jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rolls Royce!
A pretty intense looking Rolls Royce took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
