Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frankie King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Seaver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frankie King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Seaver!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws a head kick that half lands.


It looks like James Seaver has been cut.
Seaver dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on King. That did some damage!
King uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Seaver has time to react.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

King has managed to clinch.
Still in the clinch, Seaver scores with a nice short uppercut.
King works on Seaver's body with a couple of short punches.
King putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Seaver in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Seaver doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Seaver misses with a hook from the clinch.

King pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Seaver throws a nice head kick!
King throws a sloppy head kick and Seaver moves out of range easily.

King moves into the clinch.

King breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

King moves into the clinch.
King lands with a light punch inside.
King struggles to land a body shot inside as Seaver controls his hands.
Seaver struggles to land a body shot inside as King controls his hands.

King breaks from the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice body punch from King.
Seaver shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
King pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from King lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Seaver has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Seaver and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
King connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Seaver momentarily.


Seaver is rocked!
King feints a jab and as Seaver dips his head, King unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Seaver right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Seaver falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! King smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Frankie King!
