Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Keisuke Okazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keisuke Okazaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Miller!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okazaki scores with a kick to the body.
Okazaki throws a head kick but Miller moves out of range.
Okazaki fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Okazaki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Chris Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Okazaki finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Miller looking to score a takedown here. Okazaki is defending well but Miller drives through and ends up in Okazaki's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Miller throws a big elbow that misses.
Okazaki really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Miller wants to control from the top but Okazaki keeps moving.
Miller pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Okazaki is keeping the position for now.

Okazaki is looking for a triangle but Miller pushes his legs off easily.
Miller slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Chris Miller hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
No joy there for Okazaki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Miller throws a shot to the body.

Miller shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Miller seems to be looking for submissions.

Okazaki regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Miller.
Miller throwing strikes but missing.
Okazaki working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Miller.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miller controls from within his opponent's guard.
Okazaki keeping full guard, as Miller tries to pass.
Miller makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Miller throws an elbow that misses. Okazaki uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Miller's guard. Nice move by Okazaki!

Okazaki trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Miller uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Miller fails with a takedown attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Miller looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Okazaki is fending him off so far but Miller persists. Nope, Okazaki circles away and we're back to standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Okazaki's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Miller keeps the fight on the outside.
Okazaki misses with a double jab.
Miller misses with a body shot.

Miller has taken the fight to the clinch.
Miller is trying to force a seperation but Okazaki has the dominant position.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Miller as Okazaki tries to tie him up.
Okazaki is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Miller is defending well.
Miller scores with a hook to the body.

Miller lands a takedown into guard.
Miller scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Miller working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Miller throws a big elbow that misses.
Miller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Miller is pushing down on Okazaki's leg trying to pass to half guard. Okazaki is fighting to maintain full guard but Miller has managed to sneak the leg through.
Okazaki is staying active underneath Miller, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Miller stalling away here and it's allowed Okazaki to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Okazaki throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Miller escapes and throws Okazaki's legs to the side, diving into side control!
You can see the frustration on Okazaki's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Miller landing a few strikes.
Miller in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Miller lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Okazaki is not content to let Miller control the position.
Miller lands a few punches from side control.
Miller grinds an elbow into Okazaki's temple.

Okazaki is looking for a sweep.
Okazaki taking punishment in the form of punches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Okazaki sneaks back into half guard.
Miller controlling the action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Miller winds up and cracks Okazaki with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chris Miller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Okazaki has his takedown stuffed

and Miller counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Miller.
Okazaki is looking for a takedown.
Miller is pushing Okazaki up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Okazaki is looking to break free of the clinch but Miller has double underhooks.
Okazaki wants to stall.

Miller wants the takedown. Okazaki is fighting it off but Miller persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Okazaki's guard against the cage.
Miller postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Okazaki is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Miller slips nicely into half guard.
Okazaki on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Miller is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Miller drops an elbow to the side of Okazaki's head.
Keisuke Okazaki has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Chris Miller is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Miller perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Miller not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Miller stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Okazaki bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Okazaki throws a leg kick but Miller sees it coming and moves out of range.

Okazaki swings away with a body shot that misses

and Miller counters with a nice double leg into side control. Okazaki won't be happy with that.

Miller wants to control for a moment but Okazaki uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Okazaki is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Miller scores with a couple of nice shots.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Miller throwing shots but Okazaki is blocking nicely.

And that's the end of the fight!
Chris Miller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Miller winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
