Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kweku Kobina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krille Big (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kweku Kobina!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Krille Big!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Big shoots in and drives through. Kobina sprawls well.
Kobina has a takedown stuffed.

and Kobina counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Big!
Kobina looking to control and managing it successfully.
Big avoids a series of strikes thrown by Kobina.

Kobina has hold of Big's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Big manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Kobina goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Big turns into him and now he's in Kobina's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Big wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kobina, who protects the arm well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The strikes coming from Big are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Big looks up at the clock and then as Kobina takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Big smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Kobina tries to buck Big off but Big is having none of it.

Big is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kobina knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Kobina can't do much from the bottom here.

Big looks up at the clock and then as Kobina takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Big smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Big trying to control the action but Kobina is working from the bottom.
Kobina takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Big in side control lands a decent elbow.

Big goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kobina has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Big but great work by Kobina.
Kobina is looking to take a break and control but Big is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Big wants to get back to his feet.

Big manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Big tries to get to full guard but Kobina has control of the leg.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Big can do anything to dispel that myth.

Big makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Big tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kobina swivels and escapes.
Kweku Kobina has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krille Big.
Kobina looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Big closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kobina did well to prevent Big getting side control.
Kobina is breathing heavily.
Big looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kobina with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Big decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Kobina tries to clinch there but Big circles away.
Big has his takedown stuffed

and Kobina counters with a nice double leg into side control. Big won't be happy with that.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Krille Big dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Big manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kobina's best efforts.
Kobina seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Big does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Big is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kobina's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kobina's back!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kobina is trying to control the action in half guard but Big is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Big kicks off Kobina and gets to his feet.
Kobina is looking to clinch but Big is avoiding it.

Kobina bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Big is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Big has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Kobina decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Kobina tries to score with a low kick but Big moves his leg out of the way.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Big tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kobina sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Big somewhat.

Kobina fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Big sprawls well initially but Kobina persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Kobina lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Big is trying to maintain the position but Kobina is very close to passing his half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kweku Kobina dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Kobina throws a head kick but Big moves out of range.
Kobina stuffs the takedown attempt from Big. Big gets slowly back to his feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Big has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kobina avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Kweku Kobina has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krille Big.

Kobina jumps guard and drags Big to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Big showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Kobina thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Big trying to control the position from guard on top but Kobina is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Still in half guard, Big seems content to control.
Big with the ground and pound but Kobina uses the opportunity to regain guard.

I would just about give that final round to Krille Big.
I think Big has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
