Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fabio Del Mar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mighty Mike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fabio Del Mar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mighty Mike! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Del Mar looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Mike! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mike sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mike actively working from the bottom here. Mike is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mike looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Del Mar is pressing down on Mike's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mike is holding on for now. Mike looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Del Mar wants to stand but Mike has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Mike is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Del Mar's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Del Mar's back!

He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Mike's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Del Mar. Mike can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Del Mar controls the pace. Mike has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Del Mar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Del Mar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Del Mar wanted to stand there but Mike had control of the position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Del Mar slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Mike isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Del Mar stacks Mike on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Del Mar! Del Mar decides to stand back up. Del Mar steps back and let's Mike get back to his feet. Del Mar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Mike closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Del Mar quickly recovers to half guard. Mike is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Del Mar defends it well. Del Mar trying to hold on to Mike's head to control him but Mike postures up.
Mike is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

You can't force these things though and Del Mar defends well. Del Mar trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mike's guard. Del Mar trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Mike keeping full guard, as Del Mar tries to pass. Del Mar wants to control from the top but Mike keeps moving.

Mike working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Del Mar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Del Mar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Mike keeping full guard, as Del Mar tries to pass. Mike has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Del Mar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Del Mar looking to pass the guard. Del Mar advances to half guard.

Del Mar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Del Mar.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Del Mar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mike should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Del Mar lands a right hook to the body.
Del Mar thows a body shot but no joy. Del Mar darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Fabio Del Mar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Del Mar! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Fabio Del Mar! Fabio Del Mar tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
