Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jet Astronix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jet Astronix is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potter moves out of range of the leg kick from Astronix.
Potter looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Astronix wants to clinch.
Potter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Astronix shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Potter pinned against the cage. Potter gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Astronix is looking to clinch but Potter is avoiding it.
Astronix shoots in for a takedown but Potter shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Potter moves out of range of the body kick.
Potter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Astronix looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Potter is fending him off so far but Astronix persists. Nope, Potter circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jet Astronix. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Some bone on bone action there as Astronix checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Potter shoots in but no luck this time.

Astronix closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Astronix has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Potter uses from the top position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Astronix is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Potter is aware though and is defending well.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Astronix has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Potter doesn't defend quickly enough and Astronix has managed to lock this one up! Can Potter escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Astronix on a fantastic submission victory.
