Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Drop Candy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Lyons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Trent Lyons was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Drop Candy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Trent Lyons!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyons doesn't manage to clinch there - Candy circles away.
Candy lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
That has opened up Trent Lyons's cut even more.
Candy lands a slapping body shot.
Candy closes the distance and pushes Lyons back into the cage.
Candy avoiding damage as Lyons throws knees to the body.
Lyons looking to throw knees to the head but Candy is blocking nicely.

Candy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lyons throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Candy blocks it with crossed arms.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Candy turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Candy manages to end up in side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Candy in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Lyons holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Candy tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Candy is working for a guillotine from mount but Lyons frees his head quite easily.
Candy jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lyons manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Lyons takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Trent Lyons's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Trent Lyons's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Drop Candy!
