Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryutu Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marius Wistrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wistrom stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

A slow jab from Khan misses its intended target.

Khan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wistrom lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Wistrom throws a looping overhand right but Khan ducks down to avoid it.

Wistrom throws out a loose jab but Khan uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Wistrom counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Khan thinking.

Khan walks into a left hand.
Wistrom fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Khan.
Wistrom lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Wistrom fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Khan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Khan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Khan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wistrom lands a head kick. Khan smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Wistrom escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Marius Wistrom is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Wistrom darts in and clinches Khan up against the cage.
Khan is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Wistrom is keeping busy.

Wistrom breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A right-left combo lands from Wistrom.
Wistrom uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Khan.
Khan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wistrom to score with a decent uppercut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Khan throws a shot from downtown. Wistrom moves away and avoids it.
Wistrom connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Khan's hands.
Khan takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Wistrom tries to close the distance and clinch up but Khan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Wistrom throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Khan on the side of the head.

Khan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Wistrom under the eye.

Khan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Wistrom will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Khan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Khan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wistrom doesn't seem bothered though.

Wistrom scores with a one two! Khan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Khan shoots in looking for a takedown. Wistrom tries to sprawl out of it but Khan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wistrom manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well Wistrom has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Marius Wistrom decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
