Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mr John Doe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ronald Chevalier!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe lands with a thumping leg kick.
Chevalier shoots in but no luck this time.
Doe throws a head kick that half lands.


It looks like Ronald Chevalier has been cut.
Doe tries to clinch there but Chevalier circles away.
Doe lands with a slapping head kick.
Doe displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Chevalier.
Chevalier looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mr John Doe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronald Chevalier.
Chevalier tries to bum rush Doe with a series of wild strikes but Doe uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Chevalier shoots for a double leg takedown but Doe sprawls well. He's pushed Chevalier's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mr John Doe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Doe lands with a kick to the ribs.

Doe plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Doe lands a leg kick that knocks Chevalier off balance momentarily.
Doe connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Chevalier shoots in for a takedown but Doe shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Doe.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Chevalier crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Doe - the referee stops the clock and Chevalier gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Doe. Chevalier manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Chevalier is trying desperately to land a takedown but Doe is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Chevalier.

That has opened up Ronald Chevalier's cut even more.

Doe using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Chevalier has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Chevalier has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Doe is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Chevalier is trying to drag Doe to the mat but Doe just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Doe misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Chevalier.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Doe scoring well with a low kick there.
Ronald Chevalier is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Chevalier takes a kick to the side of the head.
Doe is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Chevalier can do to turn this around?
Doe leaves Chevalier with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Doe fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Chevalier.
Doe wants to clinch up but Chevalier keeps it at a distance.
Doe connects with a solid leg kick.
Doe feints and then cracks Chevalier's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Chevalier down.
Doe lands with a slapping head kick.


The cut above Ronald Chevalier's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chevalier takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Doe moves into the clinch successfully.

Chevalier on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Chevalier tries to pull guard but Doe holds him up against the cage and eventually Chevalier drops back down to his feet.
Chevalier avoiding damage as Doe throws knees to the body.
Doe tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Chevalier avoids it.
Doe unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Chevalier takes a knee to the side of the body.
Chevalier is breathing heavily.
Doe with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Doe working the clinch nicely. Chevalier is working for position but Doe cracks him with a big knee to the head! Chevalier crumples up against the cage and Doe lands two more shots before the ref can save Chevalier! This one is all over!
