Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Chao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connor's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Disturbed - Warrior. The crowd seem to be enjoying Chao's choice of entrance music: Metallica-The Unforgiven. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chao throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Connor's waist but Connor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chao off to one side.

and Chao connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Chao is defended easily by Connor.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.
Connor has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Chao is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Connor.

I would just about give that final round to Lee Chao.
