The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiago connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Fedorov has his takedown stuffed
and Santiago counters with a straight right hand.
Fedorov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Santiago swivels and escapes.
Fedorov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Joe Santiago has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Fedorov.
Santiago sizes up Fedorov with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Santiago really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fedorov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Fedorov closes the distance and clinches up with Santiago, looking for a takedown. Fedorov pushes Santiago against the cage but Santiago circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Santiago scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Alexander Fedorov has been cut.

Fedorov is rocked!
Fedorov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Santiago but Santiago pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fedorov looks gassed!
Santiago dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Santiago throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Fedorov.
Fedorov is still on wobbly legs! Can Santiago finish him?
Fedorov misses with a takedown attempt
and Santiago counters with a huge left! Fedorov is in big trouble! He's backing up but Santiago isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Fedorov from any more damage. A dominating finish by Santiago!
