Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Artem Irhin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Egor Kravcov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Irhin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Psycho Holiday. Kravcov has chosen SoyuzMultFilm - Ostorozno, obezjanki! as his entrance music. Artem Irhin had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kravcov feints and as Irhin raises his hands in defense, Kravcov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kravcov throws a big right hand that misses.
Kravcov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Kravcov trying to control but Irhin is working from the bottom.
Kravcov prevents Irhin from getting back to his feet.
Kravcov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kravcov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kravcov postures up and lands a big shot to Irhin's brow.
Kravcov keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Irhin's head.

Irhin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kravcov on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kravcov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Irhin is trying to stand back up but Kravcov is controlling him
That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kravcov seems to be working for a kimura but Irhin defends the submission attempt.
Kravcov working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Kravcov seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kravcov connects with a nice short shot to Irhin's temple.
Irhin is rocked!
Kravcov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kravcov lands a big elbow - Irhin is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Kravcov!
