Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leo Clarke!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 14 - 1, fighting out of New York, Bobby Flay!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarke tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Clarke has his takedown stuffed
and Flay counters with a leg kick.
Clarke throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Flay lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Flay misses with a body kick.
Flay wants to land a leg kick but Clarke is out of range.
Flay slips a jab from Clarke.
Flay stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Flay wants it to stay on the feet.
Clarke shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Flay as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leo Clarke. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Clarke looking to score a takedown here. Flay is defending well but Clarke drives through and ends up in Flay's guard.
Flay looking for a sweep. Not yet Flay, not yet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Clarke is looking to work some ground and pound but Flay has wrist control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Clarke preventing the sweep.
Clarke has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Flay utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Flay keeping moving, preventing Clarke from controlling successfully.

Flay is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Clarke is aware though and is defending well.
Clarke will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Flay has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Clarke can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Clarke postures up in Flay's guard and throws a big left but Flay blocks it.

Clarke pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Flay is keeping the position for now.
Clarke sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Flay's guard.
Flay is looking for a sweep. Clarke is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Flay moves into full guard.
Clarke throwing strikes from guard but Flay blocks nicely.
Clarke is looking to work some ground and pound but Flay has wrist control.
Flay is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Clarke wants to control from the top but Flay keeps moving.

Flay controls Clarke momentarily but Clarke frees himself.

Clarke stays in close to Flay's body and controls the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Leo Clarke.
Flay ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Flay closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Clarke is looking to clinch.

Clarke dives in and grabs Flay's left leg, looking for a takedown. Flay pushes down on Clarke's head and hops out.
Flay throws a low kick but Clarke moves out of range easily.
Flay slips under a jab.
Clarke swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Clarke tries to land a body kick
and Flay counters with a nice low kick that buckles Clarke's knee momentarily.

Flay misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Clarke.
Flay tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Clarke was well out of range. Poor timing from Flay.
Clarke scores with a nice head shot.
Clarke tries to land a front kick but Flay steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Clarke fails to land the takedown.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Flay throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Clarke changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Leo Clarke will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Clarke gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Flay counters with a slapping leg kick.
Clarke tries a head kick but it misses.
Flay thows a body kick. Clarke tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Flay has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Clarke takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Flay takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Flay scores with a sloppy right hand. Clarke should have avoided that one.


It looks like Leo Clarke has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Clarke throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Flay connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Flay dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Clarke. That did some damage!
Clarke takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Flay - that will leave a mark!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Flay cracks a nice hook into Clarke's ribs.
Flay takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clarke ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Flay moves away.
Jab from Flay.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Flay, right into the meat.

Clarke moves out of range as Flay throws a body kick.
Flay buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Flay comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Flay pushes Clarke away with a front kick.
Flay misses with the combination.
Clarke has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Flay.
Clarke is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Crunch! Flay slams his shin into Clarke's torso.
Clarke takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Clarke on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Flay connects with an inside leg kick.
Flay misses with a body kick.
Bobby Flay seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Flay throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Flay misses with a head kick.
Clarke showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Flay.
Clarke on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Flay's jab looks to have found its range, popping Clarke under the eye.
Flay pushes Clarke away with a front kick.
Bobby Flay is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Flay digs a good body shot into Clarke's ribs.

Flay closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Clarke will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Flay comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Flay stalling.
Clarke prevents a body shot from Flay.
Flay working some nice short punches in the clinch.


Leo Clarke's cut is getting worse.
Clarke takes a shot to the head.
Flay misses with a hook to the ribs.
Flay stops a takedown attempt from Clarke.
Flay misses with some punches.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Flay.
Flay leaning against his opponent.
Flay misses with a shot to the kidneys.

A short body shot lands from Flay as the two fighters clinch.
Flay lands a body shot.
Flay has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Flay presses Clarke against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Flay lands a hook that snaps the head of Clarke backwards.
Flay has Clarke pressed against the ropes.
Flay softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Flay lands a body shot.
Flay misses with a body punch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bobby Flay showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Clarke misses with a right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Flay looks to score with a jab to the body but Clarke is just out of range.
Flay keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Flay lands a left and a right that send Clarke crashing to the mat, dazed. Flay thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Clarke is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A head kick by Flay - that's a beauty! Clarke is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Flay can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Bobby Flay!
