Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Meridius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean ORiordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Meridius might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sexion d'Assaut - Desole . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for ORiordan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Meridius misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
ORiordan cracks a nice hook into Meridius's ribs.
Meridius needs to keep his hands up - ORiordan had a free shot at his head there.
Meridius avoids a punch combination nicely.
Meridius loads up on a big right hand but ORiordan slips the punch.

ORiordan slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Meridius is looking to clinch.
ORiordan misses with a takedown attempt - Meridius sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
ORiordan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

ORiordan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Meridius looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
ORiordan pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Meridius back to the ropes. ORiordan follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
ORiordan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Meridius manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

ORiordan cracks Meridius with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Maximus Meridius is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
ORiordan lands with an overhand left.
Meridius wants to clinch up but ORiordan keeps it at a distance.
Meridius throws an uppercut from half a mile away. ORiordan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Meridius dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on ORiordan. That did some damage!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Meridius tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
ORiordan ducks under a wild hook from Meridius.
Meridius keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from ORiordan.
Meridius misses with a body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts ORiordan, as that shot connected.
Sean ORiordan seems to be getting the better of the standup.
ORiordan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Meridius is rocked!
Meridius tries a head kick but it misses.
Oh Meridius is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Meridius leaves his chin hanging out and ORiordan seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Meridius crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sean ORiordan!
