The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kristof rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Demir moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kristof shoots in for a double leg but Demir sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kristof falls off balance throwing a combination
and Demir counters with a right hand to the body.
Kristof is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Alex Kristof seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Demir moves out of range of the body kick from Kristof.
Demir circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Kristof to the canvas! Kristof doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Demir keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
