Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newman fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lumberg.
Newman staying out of range there.
Lumberg throws out a loose jab but Newman uses good head movement to avoid it.
Newman throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lumberg's head.
It looks like Bill Lumberg has been cut.
Newman misses with a hook.
Newman fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lumberg checks it well.
Lumberg swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Newman with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

and Lumberg counters with a good low kick that Newman was not able to check.
Nate Newman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lumberg throws a shot from downtown. Newman moves away and avoids it.

Newman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Newman connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Lumberg tries to close the distance and clinch up but Newman swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Newman throws a nice inside leg kick.
Newman stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Newman should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
