The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Puffer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Puffer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blau keeps working.
Puffer is working Blau over with some ground and pound from side control.
Puffer wants to control for a moment but Blau uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Puffer tries to roll over but Blau keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blau wants to get back to his feet.

Blau stands up out of the half guard.
Blau throws a hook but Puffer avoids it easily.
Blau throws a head kick but Puffer moves out of range.
Puffer shoots for a takedown but Blau saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Blau tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Puffer gets a takedown into half guard.
Blau is looking to improve his position.

Puffer wants to work for an arm triangle but Blau is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Puffer wants to control but Blau is keeping him busy.
Puffer wants to pass to mount but Blau is defending the position.
Puffer is breathing heavily.
Blau trying to control from the bottom.
Puffer passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Blau!
Puffer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Blau is looking to escape.

Blau manages to get to full guard.

Blau working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Puffer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Puffer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Blau is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Puffer has his hands clasped together but Blau extends an breaks Puffer's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Blau.
