Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elvin Ruez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Violator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruez comes to the cage accompanied by Face Breaker - Poison Pen. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Violator showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ruez.
Violator throws the left hand but Ruez avoids the punch easily.
Ruez walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ruez has managed to clinch.
Ruez has hold of one of Violator's legs. Violator is fighting the takedown attempt but Ruez gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Ruez looking to sit in guard and control but Violator gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
