Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Emigdio Persona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikita Kotoski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Persona might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Clutch-Spacegrass. Emigdio Persona is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Persona feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kotoski trying to keep a closed guard but Persona is proving a slippery customer.

Persona is standing up over Kotoski. Kotoski looks to escape but Persona dives into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Persona will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Persona darts in and clinches Kotoski up against the cage.

Kotoski is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
