Martin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Phillips counters with a nice body shot.
Martin gets the takedown into side control.
Martin is looking to take a break and control but Phillips is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Phillips is trying to improve his position.
Martin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Phillips. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Phillips is trying to control Martin's posture but Martin avoids it.
Phillips manages to get back to half guard.
Martin with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Let's hope that Martin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Phillips has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Martin doesn't defend quickly enough and Phillips has managed to lock this one up! Can Martin escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Phillips on a fantastic submission victory.
