Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harrison is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: invasion alert. Benjamin Harrison has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Stephen Powers's chin.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Stephen Powers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Benjamin Harrison! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Powers tries to clinch up. Powers forces Harrison back against the cage and clinches. Powers has Harrison pressed against the cage.
Powers drags the fight down to the ground.
Harrison trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Powers trying to control the position here. Harrison slips nicely into half guard. Harrison wants to work for an arm triangle but Powers is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Powers is trying to stand back up but Harrison is controlling him
Harrison is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Powers is just riding it out for now. Harrison eventually gives up the hold. Harrison throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Powers is refusing to be controlled, as Harrison sits in half guard. Powers is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Harrison not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Powers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Harrison on the ground. Harrison is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Powers has managed to free his arm - good work. Powers keeping control of the position. Powers is trying to stand up here but Harrison is controlling him well.

Harrison looks gassed! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Powers is trying to stand up here but Harrison is controlling him well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harrison trying to control the action but Powers is working from the bottom. Powers is looking to escape. Powers keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Powers drives through and clinches with Harrison against the cage.

Stephen Powers dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Powers moves into range and clinches up with Harrison. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Powers. Harrison jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Powers walks away with a smile on his face. Harrison gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Harrison swats away the attempt to clinch by Powers. Powers drives through and clinches with Harrison against the cage.
Harrison is trying to pull guard but Powers has him pressed against the cage. Powers is pushing Harrison up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Harrison working hard to break the clinch. Knees in the clinch landing for Powers.
Powers is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Harrison is breathing heavily. A knee to the head by Powers.

Powers putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Harrison in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Powers looking to throw knees to the head but Harrison is blocking nicely.

Powers turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Harrison can't do much from the bottom here. Powers decides to stand up, so the ref orders Harrison to his feet. Harrison stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Harrison wants it to stay on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harrison tries to clinch up but Powers circles away and keeps his distance. Powers darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Powers content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Harrison is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Powers pulls his head out easily. Powers wants to stand up but Harrison is controlling the position.
Harrison seems to have recovered his senses. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harrison punching from the bottom.
Powers keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Harrison gets back to full guard.
Powers trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Powers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Harrison wants to stand but Powers is controlling the position. Powers lands a couple of digs. Powers looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Harrison wants to sweep here but Powers controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harrison had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Powers defends it easily. Powers has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Powers controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Powers is looking to stand up but Harrison won't let him. Stephen Powers overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Harrison takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Powers lands a big knee! That's hurt Harrison! Oh, he's all over the place! Powers lands another knee that sends Harrison to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
