Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ben Peters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Kramer!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kramer moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Peters throws a hook but Kramer blocks it.
Kramer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kramer feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Peters's calf.
Kramer lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Kramer sizes up Peters with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
A telegraphed right hand from Peters misses the target.
Peters digs a good body shot into Kramer's ribs.
Kramer walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Peters keeps the fight on the outside.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Peters misses with a hook
and Kramer counters with a right hand to the body.
Kramer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Peters.
Kramer misses with an uppercut.
Peters thows a body shot but no joy.
Peters swats away the attempt to clinch by Kramer.
Kramer takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kramer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Peters.
Peters connects with a body shot that sends Kramer's belly button to the back.
Peters misses with a straight left.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kramer.
Some wild striking there from Kramer.
Kramer takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Peters moves out of range as Kramer strikes.
Peters digs a good hook to Kramer's body.

Peters waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Kramer. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Kramer to the canvas! Can he finish him!?


Kramer is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Peters is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Kramer is still in real trouble! Can Peters finish him?
Peters loads up on a big left hand. Kramer felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Peters looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Kramer can't hide his disappointment, as Peters celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Peters!
