The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dyer throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mir on the side of the head.
Dyer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mir misses with a wild body shot.
No luck for Mir with that takedown attempt.
Mir throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mir fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dyer manages to avoid it.

and Dyer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mir working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dyer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dyer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Horrible takedown by Mir or perhaps it was just good defense by Dyer which made him look bad.

Mir shoots in looking for a takedown but Dyer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mir's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
