The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singlet scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Singlet is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Armstrong tries to roll over but Singlet keeps him under control.
Armstrong missing with punches from the bottom.

Singlet is thwarting Armstrong's attempts to control the position.

Armstrong wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Singlet throws a strike but Armstrong avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Singlet won't allow Armstrong to get back to his feet.
Singlet keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Armstrong's head.
Singlet trying to control but Armstrong is working from the bottom.
Armstrong has momentary wrist control but Singlet slips an elbow through the middle.
Singlet working some strikes from top position.
Singlet really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Armstrong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Singlet lands a couple of digs.
Armstrong wants to hit a switch here but Singlet passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Armstrong there!
Armstrong really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Armstrong wants to hold on but Singlet pushes him away.
Singlet is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Armstrong can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Singlet looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Armstrong covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
