Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Risto Korpisuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and North Rupp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Korpisuo comes to the cage accompanied by Eläkeläiset - Humpparaakki. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Risto Korpisuo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, North Rupp! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Korpisuo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Korpisuo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rupp does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Korpisuo missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Rupp has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Korpisuo is working away from the top position though. Rupp is defending against the submission attempts here by Korpisuo.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Korpisuo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rupp defends it well. Korpisuo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Korpisuo is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ground and pound from Korpisuo. Korpisuo is pressing down on Rupp's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rupp is holding on for now. Korpisuo sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Rupp defending well though. Korpisuo scoring with strikes to the body and head. Korpisuo not landing any meaningful shots this time. Korpisuo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Rupp blocking the ground and pound attempt from Korpisuo. Korpisuo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rupp has managed to free his arm - good work. Rupp tries to roll over but Korpisuo keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Korpisuo is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Rupp reverses the position - he's now on top in Korpisuo's guard. Korpisuo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rupp defends well. Rupp would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Korpisuo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Korpisuo prevents Rupp from standing back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Korpisuo works his way into full mount! Rupp taking shots to the head. Korpisuo is landing with some decent strikes but Rupp is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Korpisuo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Rupp can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Rupp is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rupp tries to reverse the position but Korpisuo maintains control. Rupp is still in real trouble! Can Korpisuo finish him? A big strike lands for Korpisuo! That's really hurt Rupp and he's turned his back - Korpisuo keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Korpisuo jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Risto Korpisuo! A relieved looking Risto Korpisuo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
